Not to start off by bragging, but my son was the best eater when we first switched him over to puréed food – mushrooms, eggplant, chicken, ham, eggs, zucchini – you name it. That sadly did not last. Nowadays, this list consists of about 3 things in total that he will eat. This makes traveling a bit more challenging. I’ve had to dive deep into Pinterest, blogs, online searches, various health foods & baby stores, to try and find some travel friendly food options for my toddler. I’ve pulled together a list of some delicious and healthy travel snacks for your little ones.

Travel Snacks for Little Ones
Smoothie Melts from Kiddylicious: Honestly one of my favourite companies for travel snacks. These delicious Melts are made of only 100% fruits (banana & strawberries) and there is no added sugar in. This company has a large variety of snacks including veggies straws, fruit bars and more! Plus, the snacks are packed individually, so perfect for throwing in your travel bag and heading out the door.
Coconut Rolls from Kiddylicious: These Rolls are definitely a delicious and healthy travel snack for your little ones. They are lightly baked with coconut milk, tapioca starch, coconut syrup, rice flour, taro and eggs. The only downside is that my son can easily eat 4-6 packets in one sitting, so they become a bit pricier.
BEAR Fruit Snacks: These Fruit Snacks are much healthier than the ones I grew up with! The company has a variety of flavours and they all have very minimal ingredients! In our house we love the Strawberry & Apple Paws. They also have fruit rolls, but these can be a bit trickier if you need to break them apart for your younger ones.
Honey Spelt Puffs from RUDE HEALTH: As the name suggests, the ingredients in this cereal are honey and spelt. Spelt Puffs are easy for your little ones to pick up and they don’t crumble apart (although your little one can still spill the whole bowl). It is a wonderful, healthy snack and breakfast option.
I haven’t been able to find the brand Oh My Goodness other than in South Africa, but in case you are traveling there, I wanted to add it to the list.
Moon Melts from Oh My Goodness: Delicious, freeze-dried yogurt melts. We got them in South Africa & they were one of the few things my son would eat at a stage. We always went for the mixed berry, but they also have banana & strawberry ones as well.
Oat & Honey Bars from Nature’s Valley: These Granola Bars are a bit messier if you have young ones and need to break it into smaller pieces. However, they are still a favourite in our household!
Veggie Straws from Eat Real: These Veggie Straws both taste great & don’t add a lot of mess when travelling! They aren’t as healthy as some of the options I have listed, but they are still pretty healthy. They also go great with hummus.
Alongside of these delicious and healthy travel snacks for your little ones, you can always grab snacks like pretzels, goldfish, chips, and crackers.
